Really, I'm not. I haven't been doing much of that lately. But I have been doing a lot of other things, which I haven't been writing about here because, well, I've been out out doing them! Here's [some of] what you've missed, in bullet form for your convenience:
- I gave my bike away to a couple of missionaries that just got back from India. Then I remembered I actually liked riding my bike, so I bought a new one. Check it out (it's sweet).
- At some point I was introduced to the Saturday Farmer's Market in town, which I go to every chance I get (typically Saturdays, hah). Last time I was there I had some kind of French toast breakfast sandwich that slid through the arteries with grace and style. Mmm.
- Vance and I drove to New Orleans with Jake to catch Dan and Robin's wedding. We miss them. They were kind of a staple in our lives and then Poof! China.
- We went down south to hang out with the family for a weekend. Happy birthday Dad and Papa. :)
- I flew (with Vance) to Colorado to meet his family and celebrate his birthday. 5 days, 4 nights, 3 hour one-on-one with the mom. And it probably couldn't have gone better, sans the few hundred times I got shocked because of the dry climate. Love. Those. People.
- Shifted roles a little at work. I'm a software developer dedicated to the marketing department now. It's been a good fit for me. Never a dull moment.
- I learned how to use the antiquated cgiemail. Made a pretty form for the STATUS leadership. Woop woop.
- I got a bunch of work done on my dad's website. Finally.
- Learned more Javascript. More Ruby (Rails too). More CSS. (Yay learning).
- Etc.
That's all I can think of for now. Anyway, I am back in town for a while so I should be writing more, if Vance keeps me accountable for doing so (or I could stop making excuses and just write). Good times, but good to be back.
