I've lusted after Circus Ponies' NoteBook for years, but I never actually purchased it for fear that my need to maintain perfect notes and organization of information would produce more work with less utility. But Google has come out with a "product" of the same name and, along with every other concoction from Google Labs, I had to try it.

Notebook doesn't quite jive with Apple's Safari browser (yet), but it works well in Firefox on both Mac and Windows. I love it because I can have multiple research projects going on at once in different "notebooks" and access them from (virtually) any computer with an Internet connection and a decent web browser.
I've been tempted by Circus Ponies' Notebook and Bare Bones Software's Yojimbo in the past, but those are really bad products for someone with mild OCD to have on her computer. I think I can control my urge to organize with Google Notebook, as long as they don't add any more features! :-)
